i was turning around and sorta got stuck. damn town has had like 13 inches of rain this month.. very sloppy to say the least. i just put it on 4WD and let her have it.. not the right thing to do i guess. a young man with a old ford helped me out, was an easy recovery...

Yeah that mud under the grass will get you every time..... Heavy vehicle and new driver buddy, lesson learned. now lets keep the mod ideas coming!

Man those trucks are heavy as hell and tend to go down quick with stock tires.

in my defense, i was not even looking to "mess around" i was actually looking behind me at traffic.

Stock tires?

If so, they are utter garbage. A recent snow storm and a curious sergeant resulted in their 2010 Expedition patrol vehicle getting stuck.

Now, you think a 2010 Super Duty that is 10' in the air wouldn't have a problem pulling that Expy out...well...it did, and it got stuck too. I looked at the tires and the tread looks like it was cut with a tooth pick. Very narrow and really no ability to 'grab' anything. Had the truck had proper tires, we could have saved our sergeant. But no...we had to call public works to come and plow us out...
