Got the SCT tuner squared away. Recovered my stock file and added the two upgraded files for "after" the upgrades..
Bad news.. Both up pipes were cracked. Not I know why it sounded like he wind section of the Boston philharmonic under my hood. Anyway, a quick email to sunrise ford got me two brand new pipes for 100$ less then the Vegas dealer wanted for just the drivers side up pipe.. So I am am good to go but probably not getting my truck back Monday. Maybe Tuesday evening but I can wait.
This one makes me nervous, but also happy that I bought a kit to replace all the little annoying fittings and screens.
That ripped screen means that my timely oil changes were needed. It is the high pressure oil pump screen. The pump fires the injectors (3-4000+ PSI I think), they run very tight tolerances and the sludge in the oil could cause a failure and this screen is supposed to stop it. I have new injectors so I am not worried about it.
