And that was the first time i got crabs...
see, tuning man, its all in the tuning!
i had a terrible idle when coming to a stop. it would stay at about 950-1000 and then just as i would stop, it would go down to normal. well i was just letting it run its course and gather data to tel Pat at KEM as he will be adjusting it.
well i was running the race tune as it smoked very little if i kept my foot out of it and gave very good fuel mileage. BUT it did smoke a lot when i would get on it so i decided to go to the street tune. idle issue is gone, so now i just have to tell him that and he can figure it out unless it is supposed to do that cause it is a Race tune.
the meth/water kit however is a finicky bitch. i guess i need to let the system depressurized a little more than i did today. went out to the truck to take the kid to eat and go shopping and it started hard and gave a big ole steam and unburnt fuel fart out. the solenoid is only so strong and i am sure the 220 PSI pump holds some pressure for a while and it put some mix in the intake waiting to get swallowed upon start up.

okay the fart wasn't the water/meth system. maybe a CCV issue but whatever.
i have figured the water/meth system out with help from a few long time users somewhere else on the interwebs. it was set to come on too soon and hard. i set it to a "starting point" then tweaked it from there and it is pretty usable now.
no more stumble and it does lower the EGT's when it kicks on to 100%
i bought some Methanol from a guy that used it on a project. 3.5 gallons for 10$ and i now have a 60% mix in the tank and 2.5 gallons of 50/50 mix for the track.
now while i was getting in my truck i smelled an odd smell. looked around and it seems i have developed a leak at the master cylinder.. need to get into it and see whats up. slow leak but still needs attention.

0-100 MPH run WOT no fuel starvation or stumble.
this is on the full race tune so i am glad i have the fuel to feed the injectors.

I would hope so, otherwise you would have an empty fuel tank and not be going anywhere.
