see, tuning man, its all in the tuning!
i had a terrible idle when coming to a stop. it would stay at about 950-1000 and then just as i would stop, it would go down to normal. well i was just letting it run its course and gather data to tel Pat at KEM as he will be adjusting it.
well i was running the race tune as it smoked very little if i kept my foot out of it and gave very good fuel mileage. BUT it did smoke a lot when i would get on it so i decided to go to the street tune. idle issue is gone, so now i just have to tell him that and he can figure it out unless it is supposed to do that cause it is a Race tune.
the meth/water kit however is a finicky bitch. i guess i need to let the system depressurized a little more than i did today. went out to the truck to take the kid to eat and go shopping and it started hard and gave a big ole steam and unburnt fuel fart out. the solenoid is only so strong and i am sure the 220 PSI pump holds some pressure for a while and it put some mix in the intake waiting to get swallowed upon start up.
lesson learned.
