A single 5 inch exhaust is almost overkill for any diesel up until the 1000hp range so dual 5 inch with dual 7" tips is just for looks and it doesn't look good IMO.

Who cares what you don't like.

Does the tip look bad on my truck in your eyes?

Wow. Maybe you should read up on that one.

And its not true dual. You can't pull that off unless you are running twins. The exhaust on my current truck is a 3" diamond eye dp that flows into a 4" section about 2 FT which emptys out into 5 inch. System that has option for duals around where the muffler used to be... I bought the 5" because I like the sound of it 100 times over the 4" and husker diesel was running a special on the 5" so that's what I got.....

What cracks me up the most is Mbrp highly recommends the 4-5" systems. Its going to be about the difference of adding/removing a tbs on a gas motor...

I want to run duals on this truck to do something different.

And honestly I don't think Mbrp even offers anything smaller than 4".?
So you're telling me that you need over a full 5 inch exhaust for say 800hp?
When someone says duals.... that means true duals.... anything else is just a single system splitting off into two exits. You did not specify that.

Based on your comment I felt that you would know that mbrp only makes those kits one way. So generally I would understand the reason for specifying if I was saying duals on a gasser. :brain:
