:dunno: I just don't see 10K of damage, but then again I'm no body man.

I guess the repairs must have been over what the insurance company was willing to pay for (usually they have a set % of the vehicles worth in accordance to how old it is). For instance, even if I had full coverage (which would be a waste), they'd total my truck no matter what unless it was just a bumper or fender that needed replacing. Any deeper and they'd "total" it.

I priced a entire front clip for this truck and same color for $2750...

I am a little skeptical about miles since I have no clue at this point but if I can get it going for around 10g's I'd be happy.

That's pretty much a bolt on fix. I'd go for it!

I think what they normally do is value your the truck at tax value. I think mine is 23-27. Somehwhere in there but I know I could sell it tomorrow for around 30k...

Then they assess the damage and if that cost comes up to 50-60% the value of the truck they total it... I may be incorrect the buy back would be 25% of what they essessed the truck's value at...

:wtf: why do people think a dual exhaust out the back with angled tips look good on a diesel! :fume:

Maybe because, (unlike you)... they actually "LIKE IT" that way ???? :dunno:
