Retrofit KIT and chrome bulbs came in. Headlights due in Monday. :wookie:

Yes it has. It will take me a few weeks to finish it up, but it will be worth it.


They look good but do they put out much actual light?
YES. Guys that have done it talk about lighting up 5 lanes of highway with a sharp cutoff. Night and day difference.

I'm going to try to bust this out as quick as possible once the lights get in. I drive about an hour in the dark to work every morning so it would be nice to have.

So now you are gonna be one of THOSE guys :uhoh:
No I'm doing this to avoid being one of THOSE guys. Too many Ford guys run cheap Chinese HIDs in stock housings. Since our housings are bowl-shaped, they shoot out a lot of glare. Hence the whole reason for a retrofit---to avoid the glare. It's expensive but the only way to run HIDs in our trucks without blinding other drivers.
