So is the drivetrain all put together and finalized or is there still some work to do on that?

The drivetrain is pretty much together and finalized. Of course, there's still detail work to be done like cleaning up the wiring and adding a bit more clearance for the exhaust in a couple of locations, but nothing major. Just the sort of stuff that becomes apparent during shakedown testing.

Thanks for the updates Keith. We really thought this was going to just be another redneck stuffing a V8 into a small car and going YEEE HAAA!

Looks like you have a real plan going. We appreciate the updates man. Keep em coming!

Given the look of the car when LSXtv picked it up, that would be a pretty easy assumption to make! It looked pretty rough, not how I would have chosen to present it to the world.

There's not going to be a lot of progress over the next week or two, but I'll pop back in when I have the front bodywork done. Most of the work right now is little stuff, like chasing down some extra friction in the steering column or fixing a bad electrical connection in the left rear taillight. Not exciting.

Well Keith. I certainly retract my uninformed early criticism in this thread and look forward to your progress updates.

Thanks again!

This looks like it is going to shape up into something nice when it's all said and done.
