Im pretty certain that the axle seals are a common problem, and ive heard that they can leak after you replace them, which mine are doing, and has been doing since not long after I changed em. I'll probably do a write up on them when I do this set.

I've decided I'm not going with 17's. I'm instead going to lift the truck up the inch that I had dropped it, and buy taller tires for the 22's. That will get me in alignment, away from the driveshaft in the back, and give me more sidewall and better ride and more protection for the rims.

Well as everyone knows, bought some 17's with 275/60 falkens on them, brand new. $425. Put my overload springs back in the rear for 1" lift, and cranked the torsion bars fir an extra inch. Front sits at 30.75 and rear is 31.5". Had it aligned, that was one reason I lifted back up.

I'm going to get my factory mirrors painted to match, and sell the street scene mirrors. I'm also looking for a set of 03 chevy tails, and selling my black led tails. I'm very happy with the look and ride quality. My 22's are for sale also. I'd like to sell them to buy gears for the front and back and an optima battery.

It was funny, the fat Mexican mechanic guy who aligned it, drove it to test it out. Wanted to know what kind of muffler I had, I told him headers and duals and magnaflow, then he asked if I had a motor swap, I said no.....he said then what's done to it? That thing is "peppy"! Lol. I said bolt ons and that's it!

I think the ride height is very nice! Looks great! Glad the alignment worked out. Hopefully this means no more un-even tire wear.

In terms of color for the 17's. I guess I just don't see the point of PTM-ing them since they seem to match pretty good.
