I'm 90% sure they did sometime around 2005 in either the Burb or Hoe, not sure which, or if it was both.

I know for sure they made them in 2wd. I just can't remember if the first year was 04 or 05. By searching on google it looks like 05 was the first year. So only 05-06 you could get a GMT800 2wd Z71 Tahoe or Burban. Just google 2wd z71 Tahoe and see what comes up.

A Suburban isn't all that much bigger than a Tahoe, but the longer wheelbase does make them drive different.

Why do you need it loaded Jake? If you find a clean 2wd one, I'd nab it... I'd prefer a less optioned vehicle (within reason of course) immaculate than a lightly tainted loaded one

Loaded is on of the reasons to trade the nitro. No reason to go bigger for cloth lightly optioned truck really.
I've actually considered trading it toward an 06 f250 6.0 4x4 crewcab for me but then she couldn't drive something thats bigger than a burb till we got mine sold for a hoe
