And still cheaper than a sbc? I find that hatd to believe, I know there are plenty of parts but there is no way they are cheaper.

Are you planning on doing this to your Ford? If that's your plan I would buy a chevy truck to build as a track truck. Why? Because you can go faster for far less money. Way more go fast parts available for chevy small blocks or ls based engines.

I'm not trying to soup it up and make it super fast, just a fun toy I can take to the track and see what she's got. If I had the cash I'd find a cheap chevy in decent shape and drop an LS whatever in.
I would just hate to see you chop your Ford for saving weight and all. But in the end it is your truck and you should do what you want, not what a bunch of yaw hoo's on the interwebs say.![]()
