Bummer, couldn't nail that one down ..

The search goes on ..
Found a few new ones on evil bay that are fairly hi-dollar ... Hoping to run up on a good used, but not used up cooler? ..

Do like this one ..

Comes with a fan ..
Would be able to hook it up to a thermostat ..

The gauge tells me if I'm fixing to burn the dang thing up .. Eek !

Kinda liking this gauge cause at 250 degrees it starts to flash ..

At that temp it's almost like ;
'Oops too Late' :crybaby:

The ideal temperature for a 454 BBC engine's oil is generally considered to be between 195°F and 220°F. This range allows for efficient lubrication and cooling of the engine's internal components.

While some experts recommend a slightly higher range of 230°F to 260°F, the majority agree that 195-220°F is ideal.

Temperatures above 275°F can start to degrade conventional motor oil.

Hoping to get a better color match this time around ..

What I used before for the base coat was the DB2 dark brown which was not a good match to the steering wheel ...
Thought was to go to the LB1 light brown this time ..
But ... Do want a real close match-up to the color of the wheel ..

Took the wood down to the paint store and they shot it with their $8,000 camera that kicks out a code ...

Looks to be very dang close !!
