I've had mine for 3 years, have done all kinds of mods, added over 100 HP and every time I get in it, I still get goosebumps ...... One thing I learned is ya better Respect it.

Man I love these trucks ...... There's always a couple for sale or you can get a line on one Here ...... vtcoa.com, been a member of that forum for the same amount of time. Great info on these rides. Ask questions, buy parts, do it all here. But I like other nice trucks as well, That's why I joined here ......

IIRC correctly, they use a modified version of the Cummins tranny in the Quad Cabs. 4sp I think. Too heavy a truck and too much power for a manual.

The 48RE is 3 +OD. Easy enough to buff up. Plenty of company's out there build full race ready 48RE's for the CTD crowd

Must say after driving a Viper for the day and a SRT10 RC and QC. The RC is the most fun! Plus a V10 with full headers and exhaust in the pickup truck vs. a high end sports car is priceless. The others guy's expression "Did that just happen?" haha
