Maybe not to you, but you're blinding every on-coming driver.

What you've done is one of my biggest vehicle pet peeves. If you're going to swap to HIDs, do it right and get projectors.

If you don't believe me, swap rides with a friend at night and drive past each other a few times. Preferably a friend who doesn't drive a lifted truck.

Haven't been flashed by any oncoming cars once. (the headlight conversion has been installed for several weeks now) I finished the fog light installation only yesterday. I don't use fog lamps regularly.

Secondly, do you know how I have my lights aimed???

Not all HID's, OEM or aftermarket are in projector housings, and these lights do have glare sheilds.

I've had HID conversions in multiple rides with non-projector housings and never had a flash or been pulled over.

Lights are bright, but that's why they can be aimed.

I don't flash people that put HIDs in reflectors because I know there's nothing they can do about it. Just cuz people don't flash you doesn't mean you aren't blinding them. With all the crazies out there it's not surprising people don't want to piss off a a guy in a big truck who doesn't care about other drivers anyways.

Aiming can help, but it's like using a band-aid to treat a broken leg.

Take a photo of your light pattern, say 50'-100' from a big wall, garage door, etc and see where the light falls. This is pretty bad...

Here's one that's a little better, but there's still alot of light being thrown up towards oncoming drivers. Remember HIDs are 3-4 times brighter than your stock halogen bulbs, so it doesn't have to be the hot spot to blind people.

What it should look like when you are using HIDs properly.

Post a pic of your light pattern and if there's no light being thrown up at other drivers, I'll eat crow and never mention it again.
