HOW TO: Make a Camera Mount for your Vehicle

I was very close to building a base plate for my tripod, Darren, to sit in the seat similar to that. It would buckle in place and have three counterbored holes for the tripod legs. Then three eye bolts would stick up and I'd bungee the tripod leg supports down tight.


With that setup, however, there'd be nowhere for the mutt. :D

Nice! Yeah man been busy, lost interest in the forums for a bit because of it. When i'm home anymore its to be lazy and relax, eat & sleep.

Well,I tried the first mount I made and let's just say it wasn't too good.Because I attached it to the front passenger seat it was not very stable & because of the weight of the camera and the movement of the seat it wobbled bad.....but...I extended the mounting bar to extend across to the driver's seat and BINGO!! Much better!!
