I usually just hit my remote start and let it run for about 10-15 minutes, or till the remote start times out (it shuts off after 15 minutes).

I use my remote start 75% of the time and let it warm at least for a minute or two. I love my aluminum block the truck warms up so much faster then my 95 did.

Sometimes I do.....but other times, like when I have a call to go on, I start it, drive it 1 very cold mile or so, then shut it off. If it's REALLY cold, I leave it run at the station.

This is one of my pet peaves. Not letting the engine get up to temperature on cold days. I'll 9 times out of 10, go a little further just to accomplish that. :dunno: Call me retarded, it's just habit.

Most cold mornings I'll warm the truck up with remote start. Most mornings it's at least a couple of minutes running before we pull out of the driveway anyway. :)
