I do warm up but not usually long enough to do more than get a head start on warming up for real. Once I get my Viper 5301 installed in mid-January, I'll warm up a lot more. :D

Got an oil change done yesterday. I started the truck about 10 minutes ago at my cousin's house, and I drove it back home. Fucking engine ticked like hell on the way back. It pissed me off so much, I decided to to rev the hell out of it. :fume:

Unless that ticking always happened... I'd... Check the oil...

That was my Mazda's way of saying it was low...

I know it freakin hurts if I were to jump out bed right from waking up and start running down the street!! Lol So I let her idle a few mins b4 driving. They warm up much quicker if you have e-fans.

That's funny right there... maybe there is something to that.

I don't warm the engine up, I allow it to warm up through light driving. Once the thermo gets up to mid way, then I will get into the throttle a bit more.

If I had e-fans my truck would hit the operating temp of 98*C (208*F) within 10 - 20 minutes at -40*...

But since I have a mechanical fan, it never goes past 1/4 of the way up the guage unless I drive it....

I let it warm up for at least 30 seconds on a warm day and 5-10 minutes on a cold day. I dunno if it helps the engine or not, but its usually warmer for me!
