What did you do with the DRLs when you ran them on your Sierra?

I pulled the fuse. I pulled the fuse long before I installed the HID's though.

I hate DRL's.

Do my front parkys light up with DRL? I can't remember

I like DRLs, mostly I think because I like to see them on cars when riding, and I want to think other guys on bikes do, too.

I would put LED bulbs in my park lights if I could make that work.

Your DRL's are actually the low beams so you are screwed. You might as well turn the DRL's off though and then just run your marker lights when you drive. If they can't see that gargantuan of a truck, those lights aren't helping shit.

I knew a guy that didn't ride wouldn't understand

Just had a couple of close calls in flat light in corners. Not a DRL discussion, just wanted to light up something without turning the switch

I don't ride, but I've ridden plenty. It's not a difficult concept to understand. As such, I get it, I just don't agree.

If you were in a Civic, I think your point would resonate more with me. I don't think it's a bad idea to help out riders as much as possible, I just don't think it's as necessary given the size of your truck. I was just commenting on the aesthetics and about the lights, as per the thread title. I'm not trying to convince you not to.

Scott, check out Spencer's HIDs. Supposedly they are higher quality than the DDM ones. Plus he is in Alaska, so you know his kits can handle the cold.
