Looks like an easy way to hardwire. Good find, I had no clue something like that was available.

...nothing is legal there

Sounds like New York.. I hate going up there.

Damn, thats ridicoulous they have no right of seeing in my glove box anyways. Well I guess if I am reaching for my information or something the can say something.....Damn Nazis

Could try sticking it under the right rear seat with the jack. Your vehicle cannot be searched without a warrant.

My truck isn't exactly street legal. I love SC.

Not at all legal mr.Windshield :rollin:

I still remember the day you got it done and on the way out somewhere you were at a red light and a parked cop was there. I would have been heart racing worried about the fine :uhoh:

I've been using the Invisicord and a custom mirror mount for my detectors for years now. Luckily the same mount has worked for the 06 YD, 08 CTS, and the 09 SD. Here are a few pics I just took of my current setup with the 9500ix.

I really see no need to buy the cord. I just popped my dash off and ran it so its out of the way. Bought the 50 dollar cobra from wally world works fine

I like the running it through the dash idea. But the other one I think works better cause the radar detector is up high and can possible read more.

x2 That's why I am going the invisicord route. I have read great things about mounting the high end Radar Detectors up high. They catch radar bands further away and quicker.
