I use some hf tools for home but not at work. I have seen there impact sockets blow up on high powered guns. I only use the big names for that kind of stuff. I love there throw away electric tools though. They are cheap and work good.

HF is absolutely full of stuff you never knew you needed until you see it on the shelf, and good deals on the stuff you had on your "someday" list.

Personally I think their issue isn't a lack of decent tools it's a lack of consistency. You could buy 2 of the same thing there and one could fail the first time you use it and another could last forever. A majority of their hand tools have the same lifetime warranty as other brands.

Same here! I've always heard their stuff was more or less junk. So, I never considered 'em.. This thread is making me reconsider that some, the next time I'm looking to buy some tools.. :dunno:
