GMT900 high road noise in rear of crew cab?

btw my truck did it the day i picked it up from the dealer when it had no ventshades on it

your engine is the problem,,,if u had a 5.3 u wouldent have that noise...ill be happy to trade you after all you have children riding in the back and that may effect their brains.

if stumppy cant trade with my quite,fuel saving 5.3 its yours

Well had my dealer perform the "TSB", when i get time tomorow i`ll pick it up and see how much better it is. I do not have high hopes.

i`m certainly going to tear into it this summer and do some experimentation.

FYI, the dealer "fix" is a joke, i noticed no difference at all, i think they are just blowing hot air.
