Sweet deal. Whens the work scheduled for?

Probably going to order the bumper cover very soon, possibly tomorrow, and need to get a brace. It's on sale right now so might as well. IDK if the cover has to be on the truck to be prepped and painted or if they can do it by itself and then I can put the cover on later. Urethane is pretty flexible so I imagine it can be taken care of without being on the truck. :dunno:

Geico finally went to the shop today and covered the braces they didn't want to look at, which were $150 each, but the cover is quick and simple to do so I'm going that route. Looks the same so whatever, lol.

lol true. I would imagine it doesn't need to me mounted on the truck to get painted. So you should be alright.

This was just a mock up to see how it would fit, and if the top plastic cover should stay on of come off. It's going to stay on, but it needs trimmed in the back because it will stick out further than the cover in some areas. We are also paint matching that fugly plastic piece that goes across the grill, and I'll paint the bowtie black.

Here's some pics:

Now I just need to find the 2 little gray insert things that go around the vents. Those areas are kinda rough on the cover and that would mean less time prepping that area (which will be a pain in the ass).

edit: fog lights will also be mounted behind the vents with some trimming. Should be tits.
