Lawn mower man if you think those are to small for you then perhaps you should think about a FULLSIZE car since you seem to need pictures to have something spelled out for you lets try this one.

Damit if that fucking car can pull a lawn mower why can a half ton truck or hell even an s-10

Now that is fuckin funny right there, and I just so happen to have a 95 maroon Tbird just like that one sitting in front of my house for sale Dave. Its a friend from works car with a 4.6 rod knock and she was wanting $500 for it cuz she just spend $500 for all new brakes and tires all the way around, so all she wants is the brakes and tires expense back out of it. You interested? Maybe I can catch her desperate, she will cut her losses and take $300. I want it gone anyway, its been sitting here for 2 months now.

Dave Dave Dave my buddy !!! WASSUP Dude??? These guys are giving you perfect info and they are not going to steer you wrong. That is a full size truck, not no damn S-10. And S10 is an S10 is a Silverado is a full size truck. That is the same size truck as your 90 with a shortbed, only differance there buddy.

Then what is the most you are going to tow? My 4.3 is rated at 5K and some. That would be able to pull a trailer and the same truck on it. Slowly mind you, and that alot of weight

A 4.8 or 5.3 would do it with ease, so would a 5.0 or 5.7. Just stay in the GVWR and you should be legal.

I pulled 5000lbs with my Blazer just fine :dunno:

Heck, I know people that pull bobcats on a daily basis with them

A 1/2 ton is more than most people need in hauling ability...

It's too bad no "mini" truck comes with an 8-foot bed

A 1/2 ton definitely gets you WAY more options with your budget, will ride better, do better on fuel, and with a BB tune and corvette servo will have you giggling

If you can, I'd try for a 5.3 RCLB or ECLB (if they made 'em in 1/2 ton).

How does this one look size wise? I realize it is a crew cab but you get the idea.

The truck height looks good. That way if want bigger tires I can put it on.

That's also a 3/4 ton...
A 1/2 ton might sit a little lower, but you still have the option of going up a tire size... You wouldn't be able to stick much bigger tires on the truck in that pic without any lift.

OK now wait, you want a new daily driver with big tires??? OK, so you need to back up agian into the older GMT 400 model, so you have budget left over to buy those big tires, to get across that 4-8 inch deep puddle that your riding mower can cross.

Yup they made 'em but are few and far between.

Probably more likely to have a 5.3 in an ECLB than an RCLB...
Get searchin' Dave!

If you want bigger tires, you can always lift it later!
