If you're going duals you definitely want a crossover to equalize the flow as much as possible. It's not required by any means, but will help with both performance (however little) and sound.

Yeah but it sounded like you were going to ask the installers how much it would cost with and without installing the H-pipe (to save money). I may have misunderstood.
