So i've decided on my first mod off my list. New exhaust.
here's a sweet pic of the new setup. i went ahead and put long tubes on because i'll eventually get them :D

Thanks broseph. i'm going to double check at the shop that quoted me the price to see what the difference is with the h-pipe, then compare it with a few other shops and see what you guys think is the best price. then, depending on the price, i'll see how much $$ i'll have to save.

If you're going duals you definitely want a crossover to equalize the flow as much as possible. It's not required by any means, but will help with both performance (however little) and sound.

Will the h-pipe not do that?

X pipes flow a little better.

H pipe = more power in lower rpms and deeper exhaust tone.

X pipe = more power in higher rpms and a little higher pitch sound.

I prefer the x pipes on the 5.0's. I had one on a 91 5.0 Mustang I had and it sounded bad ass!

That said, yes an H pipe will work also.
