Yea hopefully I can do some ofthe stuff Kris suggested and get to Laying more later. I added some resin to the back of the piece to get rid of the air bubbles I had and think I got most all of them. Still trying to decide whether or not to keep going and what direction or start over.

Should have pics between 6-7 cst

got some new pics almost done uploading kinda unsure which way to head.

1. do another layer like it is
2. cut out my sections then do another layer

im also need to get on the phone with kris again about the angel hair and clarify some things like its use or on here either way. if i do another layer now should i cut some small squares or angel hair or does it make a difference to cut out my sections now or not??

Jake, that's looking pretty good. You are cutting out the middle right? To make room for the shifter? I think once you get everything laid out it is going to look great.

thanks kris. i was gonna draw it for the pics but couldnt find my sharpie. if you look at the pic before materials the square in the upper left is for the shifter and then lower part for the storage. im also considering cutting a slot on the right for my cb

Well, you at least need to do a rough sand with 320-280 grit. That way the resin and fabric have something to grab onto. Otherwise it will pull away the first drop in temp or spike in temp. Or from the constant vibes the console will absorb from tranny.
It looks good so far.
