Yes you can make me a seat pan and send it to me, I will pay shipping

Actually I'm still tossing around ideas on the seat. I can get a really nice springer seat for about 300 and just fab up some mounts for it. Pretty pricey for a seat but making the bike a hard tail I might go that route just for the springs, not too sure on making my own springer.

And for materials!!! LOL

I think on of the biggest mistakes made with laying fiberglass, other than the angle pattern, is sanding and CLEANING properly between each layup. Oh, and air bubbles.

Any recommendations on good how to books? I won't do a steel seat pan, don't have the proper forming tools to make it really hug my ass, fiberglass sounds like fun to try. Worst case scenario I find out that I can't fiberglass and end up buying one.

Not too sure, I have a tonne of Navy books though. That's where I have learned everything. I've done a/c workups to scoops for trucks and cars just on what I have schools for.

I can look around.

k got my materials tonight. got some fleece from walmart, 3m resin and hardener, and 3m matting

my question is whats the best way to secure the fleece tight on the top section where the wood is in the first pic. i set it over and pulled it tight and held it. i could hold it back there with a clip and then trim off what i dont want after i lay the resin and matte or glue it???
