at the shop the best way to remove the stainless trime is a good puddy knive or a ravor knive. start at the top and pull it away from the body while cuting the sticky tape. after all that get a stripe eraser and take the rest of the sticky tape off. after that rub the area down with enamel reducer and wipe off the rest. then u can polish the area if needed or call it good. as long as u dont get carried away u dont have to repaint nothing.

just a little advise for ya..

thanks, what ive been doing is getting some fishing line and starting at the upper corner after heating it some with the heat gun, they after i get some of it off i grabbed the channel locks and grabbed ahold of it and pulled while my buddy had the heat gun aimed where the adhesive and the trim are still stuck together.
