Throw all the money at those heads you want, and I don't see them breathing good enough to justify 700CFM. You must be running a hell of cam, all I can say. If you are going to all that to this motor, then you won't need the 454. This 350 will do what you want it too just fine. Just wondering if you realize how much port and polish work costs to be done right?

Bottom line you need to make a decision what you are going to do, and go with one. Im thinking eveyone else may have quit watching the thread.

I staying with the 350 unless I find the 454 carb in the mean time. I think the cfc got all the 454 engines in that cash for clunkers program.

Here's the heads that will work with the 700cfm setup. 87~92 Z28, or 87~88 Carbureted Caprice 350. Will bolt up to the bored intake.
