He has more torque and more factory rated HP but my truck is still quicker. he has the 5 speed allison versus my 4l80E. Also we are geared the same in the rear with 4.10's. The equalizer he says is the superchips programmer. I don't think the handheld will make up the difference in HP and torque though.

I just park close enough to people that they can't get their doors open.:D

But yeah, my truck won't even fit in the spots at school. I always have about 3 feet hanging over the edge, so I usually end up parking on the street.

I can also have a "spit wad" gun in my truck then. Off school property. Cause there ain't no way I'm driving to my work without some spit wad protection...

^^Waaay off topic.

The trucks aren't hard to drive, I just don't have a use for them right now.

Your curb weight is probably also a lot less...

Add on like 100lbs per year newer

I like my Blazer for parking... All it needs is a V8

I do miss the parents 'Burb, though...

Some parking lots... Well, most around here, are a major PITA with a CCLB... Heck, some of them are a pain with an ECRB.

That's the only thing I miss about being a schwan's guy was driving that topkick 5500 around with that monster propane injected 8.1L.
Backing that thing in up long wooded driveways became an art form.

I could see that being a problem for MOST vehicles. :jester:

i have ZERO use for a short bed truck. might as well be driving a civic hatchback. but i use my bed daily. i had a regular cab truck once......notice i said "once". for me they suck. i drive my CC/LB everywhere. had a CC/LB dually before this truck. i drove it in the city daily, and drive this truck in the city daily.

I agree that REAL trucks have 8 foot beds and the CC version was about as manly as I could get. But after much therapy dealing with compensation issues I have become happy in a smaller truck :) Actually, having to park in the RV section all the time and having a turning radius that required a pasture handy, I just got tired of it. The Tahoe I got to replace is has been great. Being able to zip into the Prius sized spaces so prevalent at the markets is so much nicer. Although, after recently wiping out the 'Hoe, I had to pull Bertha out of retirement and enjoyed it, again. Now I wish I'd have gotten at least a Suburban. Ed
