I don't like 12 point turns so I do back in everywhere. Once you start doing it all the time you tend to get really good at it. Of course I am not going to park in a front row spot. I care about my truck so I tend to park a lil further out.

Hell Yeah! That's why your truck LOOKS like it does!

I'll park in the next parking lot if I have to and walk. My wife does the same. We almost never have a door ding on anything we drive. I'm incredibly f*cking picky.

Yeah the I6 has its advantages. The torque of a inline 6 is hard to beat. I am however a Big Block Fan always have been. If I go to a bigger truck it will be to medium duty Freightliner FL60 or a 4500 Duramax.. I suppose you have seen those. Nice part is there not much longer then my truck and still fit in a regular parking space.

For towing diesel has won me over and also for hot rodding you could say in a heavy truck. But the start of my 396 and the loop at idle is something else!

My truck is just to pretty to let some idiot door ding it cause of a front row space. Plus me and alot of family members can use the excercise of the walk. That black is hard to keep clean and DING free.

You betcha
That's the only thing I miss about being a schwan's guy was driving that topkick 5500 around with that monster propane injected 8.1L.
Backing that thing in up long wooded driveways became an art form.

I hated that job...
It was like being a traveling salesman with a cool truck. Except I had shit for a route (even if it was my own city lol).

Did you ever steal any of the ice cream? To stay on topic, a longbox crew cab is just too impractical for most. I love squeezing my RCSB into tight places..... :naughty:

THe 8.1L is a brute my dad has one in his truck. Believe it or not specs between the two trucks aren't that great a diff. 290Hp factory for mine and 420 ft/lbs torque. His truck is 315HP and 445 ft/lbs torque. I know my truck will smoke his. That allison auto is nice but doesn't seem to accelerate as quick as mine will. Once I get the blackbear it will be even quicker.
