Yeah, that is the only one I could find, too. I want a complete box if I can get one. Guess I will have to wait. Also want a dry element. :(

Why the F not? I can't believe they won't take it back if it doesn't fit.

NewLevel says that Volant will take care of the issue, and Volant says they are taking care of the issue. I could trim the damn thing to fit, but I just don't want to.

Do you want to yet? :dunno:

Not the issue. Been installing it, and sending photos to Volant.

She no worky.

That blows. My guess is the problems lies with the badges. :dunno:

i just seen he got a volant, witch is better IMO. :uhoh:

I bet they are comparable as far as flow is concerned as long as the MIT is paired with a quality filter. The MIT/Filter combo is just much cheaper. If you aren't into the CAI for the looks of it, the MIT is the way to go. IF you like the looks, then it's definitely the least attractive option.

probly so, but with volants enclosure the air comming in would be substantially more dense than the open design, i really wanted one for my truck way back when but it was twice as much as the K&N, plus was US only. :(

They look to be of excellent quality too.

Oh. I was only talking about the MIT which is just a different tube used with the stock air box and a drop-in filter. The Airaid full kit sucks compared to the Volant for sure as it does allow the hot engine air in much more than the Volant.

At idle yes, but once you're up to speed the ambient air under the hood is cooler and the open filter allows for better airflow.

Cooler than when at idle, certainly, but not cooler than the outside air.

As for better airflow, I doubt many of us are to the point where any CAI is truly restricting the volume of air that we're needing ingested. I'd go with a boxed design over an open design any day, personally.
