Yep the duct is not trimmed the grommet should bottom out on the tube, what is your mailing address so I can switch the part out for you?

The duct looks like it has not been trimmed correctly where it connects to the throttle body but its tuff to tell with the grommet installed if you lost another ¼ in there would that fix your problem?


So, hopefully THIS will work out

So, 3 weeks later, and they send me...wait for it...another main tube UNTRIMMED, identical to the other one.

Unfuckingbelievable.

Yeah, Volant rocks!

I guess there is a GMPP on the horizon. Problem is, I can't get Volant, or NewLevel Auto to take it back. Going to try one more time on Monday.

This Airaid kit is the one that fits the mechanical fan. It's not quite as nice, but it's something.
