so i dropped a few more Benji's at the dealer. i am finally done with the matching part of the game. now i will be upgrading things to suit my taste. i think the first thing will be the flush fuel gauge/cap and a road king headlight housing.

Sweet.....pictures??

:lol:Nice Dave....I've got the mod bug too for my new bike.....taking it a lot slower then you though, mainly because funds are awol right now, but I plan on doing a bunch already. The internet is no help when it comes to these things, just fuels the fire, I've been on so many sites since I bought the bike last Friday, I've already spent thousands of dollars in my head on customizing this thing :D

What is that other thing on the right in the picture?

so i put the footboards and the brake pedal on. my buddy who has a fat boy that is amazing looking, says, "lets go for a ride". i was like screw it, i got my temp tags. what a great ride. only did about 35 miles to go visit another buddy with a street bob, but it was so smooth even with it being very windy. i have never ridden a Harley more than 4 miles and i was thinking metric bike feel.

was i wrong... the power is nice and linear and the ride is great. cant wait for the apes to get in and put on.

i know one thing... i need a better more aerodynamic helmet..

i know i have yet to post great pics but i like to shor progress. here is the new boards.

Friday the bike is going to my sq for a show (funny cause my truck is in it as a OFF-ROAD truck) it wont win but it damn sure is more off road traveled than many of the other trucks that will be there. anyway, i will have nice clean up pics Friday and i will post them up and maybe do a thread about the show..

good luck spending money after the wedding.. you'll be lucky to ride:loser:

just playing, i know the wedding is priority 1!!!

the thing to the right is the replacement oil dip stick with built in temp gauge. owning a diesel and keeping my eye on temps has ran over to this bike with the air cooled engine, i want to monitor the oil temp.

thanks for the well wishes guy, but i know the bikes that will be there, and mine stands no chance. the best one is a 89 springer softtail. that bike is awesome!!
