I would fix that door dent BEFORE I line-X, but that's just my opinion. I have a street queen for a truck.:D

Honestly the best way to fix those problems is to find a body guy that will work on them on the side and put them in primer. Then you can get a shop to do the paint. You'll save big.

i work in a body shop and to me that seems a little high priced?:dunno: i dont do the estaments though i just do the work. i guess my question on the door is are they skinning the door or are they fixing it ( pulling the dent) if they are skinning the door thats preety close from what iv seen (as far as money) the bed and tail gate look like pretty easy fixes to me.

i do know that a new door from ford is around $1300 cause we did a estament for a guy that side swiped another pickup and took out everything from the drives side front bumper to the rear bumper and tore out his rear end. it done $14000 in damage to his pickup and still didnt total it. he sold it to the salvage yard and used the insurance check to get a new pickup.

He said it would all be cheaper if I did it all at the same time.
It will be. This should be something you should save up for and do all at once---for both cost and convenience. Do you want to be without your truck for several days more than once? It would be more convenient for you to get it all done at once so it is in and out....rather than being in and out four or five times.

When I got a new bumper along with a bed side respray, I asked them to throw in the tailgate since it would be cheaper to do while it was there and they had the paint mixed. It was $250 for just a respray, no bodywork, if that helps as a comparison.

Oh, and stop finding excuses to not buy wheels and tires. :nono:

Yeah that's most likely what I will do. I need to shop around though. Local prices are through the roof. I need to go over to savannah and get quoted

go to a junk yard and look for the same color... many poeple i know have done this.. and have had great success.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking

honestly id repaint the tailgate myself, do pdr on the bedrails. i think the door is salvageable if you straighten the dent out as much as possible and throw some putty on and linex it.
