That rear body line over the fender is poorly planned. From the side it looks like an Honda Accord CrossTour. IMO, if you are going to go for a wide rear stance, you have to have a similar set-up in the front. It looks very mismatched as a few of you guys said. Kind of a shame, because you can see many aspects that look quite nice, but it wasn't tied together properly/fluidly. I think the back looks good on it's own and so does the front, but together, looks out of place.

Its about damn time! Been waiting for this for awhile and It does look quite nice! It looks similar to the current Taurus, and like a crossbreed of the Camaro and 2013 Malibu.

It doesn't look bad and should be a good seller. I think they did better with some of their other new designs (Cruze) which leads me to this agree with this:

Looks like they got lazy to me. It looks like a lot of Camaro in the grille, LaCrosse from the profile and then they gave up on the rear. It's better, but it's far from impressive, to me. It looks like they stopped about 2-3 revisions shy and released it to engineering early.

This has been their problem with their car lineup for years IMO. On a positive note, their quality & fit/finish is improving.

To be honest, I'm a little concerned about what the new trucks will look like. They can't afford to screw up the truck lineup. They have had more than enough time to get new platform right though.

Looks like the Ford that looks like the Lexus that looks like the audi that looks like the BMW that looks like the Jag that looks like the.... You get my point.

They all look good, put your favorite brand logo/badge and it looks better and is a monumental achievement.


For the record, I think it is pretty damn sweet!
