Awesome project Cole!

Thanks che!

Very cool Cole, the tunnel is going to be fun to watch it get built. Keep the pics coming man, you're doing some great work.

I am dreading making that tunnel, contiplating if I should make it smooth and round or plate steel in flat sections...if smooth I'm going to have to make a home made shrinker and stretcher :D
Make sure you leave enough room to get that transmission out!

Oh I will, the tunnel and floor board will be just bolted in, and in 3 pieces so you can get everything out easily

But your truck is too much cool... I really like rat-rods....

picked up a 1980 pinto for $800 that had a worthy engine to put into my truck. a 1988 2.3 turbo 4 cylinder out of a thunderbird turbo coupe

also came with an evo FMIC that had ford painted on it, but way too big for this truck

I'm not so sure, but this engine seems to be one of those brazilian-made. During the 80s Ford have made some EFI turbocharged engines in its Taubaté engine plant only for export, because the TBI was imported and there was a market-reserve law benefitting brazilian electronical components in the domestic market.

im not sure where it was made but some research on the vin numbers and just some good research i have tracked it down to be a 83 mustang turbo gt block and head, but everything else(turbo, intake, accessories, injectors....) is from a 87 or 88 Thunderbird turbo coupe

got the driver side floor board cut up too now, still have to rivet the sheet metal to the frame i made then bolt them in. still have to make a rear section of the floor but that will be easier than the front was. also finished modifying the pedals to work the way i wanted them to
