Ok so fuel lines seem to be my next big hurdle (not that big but can be costly depending on how I do it). So I am thinking of doing AN fittings, I can get adapters for the fuel rail for about $30, then my pump already has the fittings, I plan to use a billet fuel filter that has the AN fittings for about $25, and would need a bung for whatever gas tank I use. Then I would need tubing which is where I am stuck. I can either do full steel braided which is more expensive then hard lines, but with hard lines I would also need to buy a special 37* flare tool. The flare tool I can get a cheapo one and hope it works for about $15. Now either way I want to do steel braided going to the fuel rail for obvious reasons. So do I just buy the extra 10ish feet of braided line or get some cheaper aluminum hard line to go from the tank to the flexible line going to the fuel rail?

Or just get some rubber hose and some good clamps and hope it holds the 65 PSI of fuel pressure at 20PSI of boost...

Now the kicker my dad has some steel braided line but I am not sure on the size it is or how long it is. If it is -6 that is long enough then obviously my questions are answered

I wouldn't use rubber. Crap always rots and leaks at the worst time. I like the idea of hard tube and bending it to fit. A cheap tool ought to give you the couple flares you're going to need.

Down pipe flange came in yesterday, all but one fitting came today, last fitting will be here tomorrow. Fighting with an ebay seller about a silicone coupler(turbo to VAM), bought on Monday and still isn't shipped and no responses to emails....I don't remember if my exhaust guy's shop is open on weekends, I hope so, need to pick up a few 3" u bends for the exhaust.

Also my dad said he only has 2 feet of hose.....:fume: going to have to order some or stop by somewhere locally (have a guy who owes me big time and does a lot of hoses)

So the plan of attack for tomorrow is wire the gauge cluster, wire the ignition switch, hopefully be able to crank it over to check compression, possibly start on exhaust....
