I wouldn't want to try this one.... between the TBS and the Tornado already installed, if I were to add this to the mix, I'd have to start siphoning fuel out of my tank because it would be too full.

I've been involved with so much testing of materials, fuels and lubricants being one small area, over the years, I know the only way to make a true determination of efficacy is to test in a controlled environment.
I would think you would need to dedicate a longer time period than 2 tanks for testing the idea. I'd try it for at least a year to see how it performs under all seasons and fuel quality changes.
I'd love to see UOA reports before and after trying this, long term of course. But that would require establishing a baseline before you started.

Statistically speaking, collecting this small amount of data will NOT provide accurate results at all. There are simply too many variables. Even a year's worth of data would not work. It would balance out the seasonal variables fairly well, but then other longer term variables would have to be considered (i.e. wear on vehicle components and systems such as plugs and sensors...even tires). The only way to test for such a minute amount of MPG savings, you would need to do it in a controlled environment with calibrated equipment.
But hey, have at it if it makes you feel better.

Well if there are big MPG gains as some of the post indicated they should show up right away. If the plugs are going to show fouling they would show up pretty quick. Just my opinion.
I have been working with UOA's on my vehicles for a while now and Terry Dyson has been working with me on this as well. There is one fuel additive that has made a difference in improving my UOA's. Each one of them from the first to the present you can see the difference as we experimented with the additive. Terry also has other customers that he works with accordingly and from all the data he has collected it shows that use of the one additive that I'm using helps in some vehicles but not in others. Just goes to prove that every vehicle is different and the environment that it is operated in. Some see a mpg increase, I haven't but my UOA's improved with it's use.
As to the OP and adding 2cycle mix. From what I have experienced it didn't improve the mpg's on the operators that used it and their UOA's showed no changes. But like stated above every vehicles is different and others results may vary.

I would think as long as you don't do short runs, but drive enough to get the engine to operating temp while driving, you shouldn't see fouling. As an engine wears and ages that would change

I think it's funny how people keep dreaming up stuff to add to the fuel tank as if it might magically be a miracle discovery.
As I posted earlier in this thread, I don't see how a tiny amount can hurt anything. I also don't see how it will do any good. It's sure to spike emissions and too much could kill the cats. Not sure why anybody would bother.
