Had the terrible grind in the front last week and knew it was a hub going out as soon as I had it. Creeped to a local shop and put it on the lift and had plenty of slack so I creeped home and went and bought a new one and put it on this weekend. I couldn't get over 35 without a awful vibration...

Working on a tracker with a buddy. He bought it with a supposedly bad fuel pump. We bench tested it and it was pumping so we put a new fuel filter in it and it's getting gas too the motor. It has a little bolt at the end of the fuel rail and if is not really really tight it squirts gas out of it...

Been waiting on parts once again! Got the heads and block back last Friday but had to ding freeze plugs! Forgot about them Got a few things painted Putting the pistons in! Bent a ring on the VERY LAST piston and had to order a new set, they came in yesterday. Everything finally fell in to place!!!

Change of plans! Getting the heads rebuilt is gonna be 500 bucks.. So why not rebuild the whole thing while we're this far in? Started the tear down, replacing main bearings, rod bearings, rings, all new gaskets on the way, pcv, water pump and just a basic good cleaning of engine bay.

F150 4.6 rebuild thread Thanks man! Pulled the lash adjuster (lifter) out and the intake valve sealed, it's going back together next weekend!!

F150 4.6 rebuild thread Got the head off finally, turns out the intake valve isn't sealing off. Anybody have experience with this? I don't know, valve look fine, possible lifter? Rocker arm? Anyways, here's the pics
