If I had the money this little 4.6 wouldn't be going back in there!! But check prices on ford racing, ridiculous!!

Building Ford V8s is expensive! They should have stuck with pushrod engines like GM has. Much simpler and every bit as capable of making power... AND a lot more reliable long term. You Ford guys might not like to hear that, but show me a 4.6 owner that got 150K out of his engine without major repairs and I'll show you a lucky SOB. I think Ford is screwing you. LS engines often go 300K without ever having a valve cover off...

The further we got in to it we realized it had more than likely that it over heated at one point and cracked a head. I got it at about 32k so it's possible. The driver side (good side) had a different valve cover bolt and was missing a bolt on the power steering pump, not probable from the factory. Plus the pistons on the drivers side 5 6 7 8, which you can see In the pic are spotless compared to the passenger side. I don't know, but it's fishy

Want to tear my apart so i can clean the engine bay? haha looking good. Wish i had the knowledge to do that stuff

Gonna roll it out tomorrow and clean it spotless!!! Hopefully... Work and school is delaying this project
