Me too! :lol: Yeah, they are work horses. The newer 6-92s had diapers you could attach to the oil pans to keep the oil from dripping on the ground. But they are a pain to change. :eek:

The one thing that drives me nuts is the power rating. If you read 3 different articles, you get three different ratings. :confused:

Jerk probably used an impact gun on the plug. I hate that stuff. Carelessness. He could have done some serious damage. I wouldnt go back to where did the work.

I've snapped plenty of sockets, but never on a drain plug. That's crazy how you snapped two on yours. Just WOW.

You snapped a socket on a drain plug?!?! WOW! Thats crazy, that must have been so over torqued. Your lucky it didnt strip the threads out of the pan. Congratulations on getting it done though. Nothing like the satisfaction of doing a job yourself. :cheers:
