Rust Removal: 390 Intake 4 BBL.

Sumbish Dave !!! Looks like you finally had a good result from the electrolysis procedure. Looks like you got it right this time, including the WD-40 at the end. Along with my 55 gallon poly drum, I also have a white poly drum that size that I snagged from a coin op car wash when they weren't...

    11-second Corolla defines "Sleeper"

I'd have no problem doing that in a full size car, like a Chevelle or Camaro, but that little bitty light car stands no chance of survival in a crash to the wall, and the little car is so much more likely to get loose and get away from the driver., especially with a manual trans adding even more...

    11-second Corolla defines "Sleeper"

Right Hand Driver too. Bring that mother fugger here to US to deliver mail in the rural areas. I feel sorry for the driver's family if it gets away from him, cuz he's a dead sumbish. There's not even a cage in that car, but it probably wouldn't do much good anyway.

Biz is slowing down a bit for the holidays I guess. You'd think the tow biz would be hopping this week, but NO, pretty dead. Busy as usual otherwise.

    '81 SWB Chevy

Yep, Jim is correct. Its common for people to update to the mini quad headlights, but still worth going over with a fine tooth comb. A guy on another forum bought a shortbed square recently. Got it home and doing some work and mods on it a couple days later, noticed the left wheel was inside the...

    Thoughts on these Taillights

I've never been a fan of tinted or dark lights. Neither front or rear. That's just me though. Not very fond of the Euro clears either. Maybe I'm just old shcool. :dunno:

    Pirate 4x4

A great place to go for some research, but past that, I'd stay away. I've seen several posts where they tear a new guy a new ass. I only registered there to be able to search threads and their search utility isn't worth a shit either, but don't you dare ask a question that was already asked 4...

    Irishman's '85 K1500

Yeah, you're about right on target. Being White, and going back with white, I think I might try to paint it myself. With light colors, flaws don't show to bad, and I'm not going for showroom new since its a 4x4 and going to be getting abused. I just want it safe, sound and sanitary. Need to get...

    Irishman's '85 K1500

Re: Irishmans 85 K1500 Does Summit by any chance have another set of that exhaust for 85 K1500? I need a set like that for my 85 K1500. You scored on that. You can't buy that much straight pipe for $60, let alone pre bent pieces in a kit. Mega score there.

Re: Irishmans 85 K1500 You made it over too??? Better not forget where you came from Dawg or I'll give you an infraction. It's funny seeing the condensed version of your truck evolving since I seen the thread that ran for over a year with all your headaches and trials. Remember you were...

Got a 2000 Ranger, what should I know?

hahaha, I'd the leave the 351 alone and just drive it Lou. The work truck is a 2001 X cab ranger with the V6 and it runs just fine with 111,000 on it now. I am certainly more of a GM fan than I am a Ford fan, although I do own a Ford too, and have owned Fords in the past, but I will say, in that...

    2011 Ford Police Interceptor

Ridiculous for a PD to have a Lambo anyway. They have radio's. I'd hate to see that in this country and tax dollars paying for it.

Some grease inside the yoke is fine if you want to. I wouldn't put it on the outside at all, it'll just spin off and make a mess. You can put a little trans fluid in it or on it too. It'll get some trans fluid from the trans when you start driving it. Not a big issue really. Put it in and drive it.

Make sure you are tuned and timed to TBI spec and see if it makes a difference. Hopefully someone else may jump in with a suggestion.

You're doing a TBI intake and ignition system though right? If so, I think TBI ingnition is .045. I'm not sure that would be your issue, but I'd check plug gap and tune to TBI specs since you are still running TBI igntion, intake and computer. All you really have is Vortec long block right???
