Pirate 4x4 is awesome though if you know what you are talking about and have a valid reason for a question on a topic that you are able to some what talk about. If you have no idea and are trying to learn and ask a question you are pretty much screwed whether you post in the noob section or not.... its a good place to go sometimes just for laughs

A great place to go for some research, but past that, I'd stay away. I've seen several posts where they tear a new guy a new ass. I only registered there to be able to search threads and their search utility isn't worth a shit either, but don't you dare ask a question that was already asked 4 years ago and answered. They'll chew you up and spit your out for that, claiming you're wasting their bandwidth and their server space.
