Im putting in the drive shaft on the 63 today-do i put grease inside the yoke that goes in the tranny and or around the yoke that goes in the tranny so it don't rub the rear tranny seal?

Just grease inside the yoke. A light coat on the outside won't hurt it, but the inside is where the slip takes place.

Some grease inside the yoke is fine if you want to. I wouldn't put it on the outside at all, it'll just spin off and make a mess. You can put a little trans fluid in it or on it too. It'll get some trans fluid from the trans when you start driving it. Not a big issue really. Put it in and drive it.
