I bet he meant the IP. That is another reason I like the 6.2 and 6.5.

Hmm, didn`t know he had a diesel, must be one of the fleet units.

That is the only pump I know that could cost that much. The one on my Stroke cost me more than that.

Finally picked up some tank mounts, however I have high doubts they will work, after this long time searching, I`m finding many different variations of tank mounts/systems for these trucks, so what I have may not work, I may end up putting in a slip tank in the box and calling it a day, I want this thing on the road!!!

And to make my day just that much more special I found out my heater core is leaking, at least its an easy fix, had it out in about 20 mins, I also changed out the PS pump today, which was messy but easy as well. Now there is no pump whine and the truck runs that much smoother!

New heater core is in and everything is back together, and coolant is back in, No more fucking leaks!

Cleaned and prepped the tank mounts to install, go the tanks out of the boxes, they look correct, however the sending units are a tad different, but I`ll know more when I get the old ones off the truck.

I just cut off the old/missing straps and welded on new ones, then painted the mounts (see pictures) also attached a picture of my kids` razor holding my tanks for when I clean them up.

I will wash the preservative off them, paint them with paint-able under coating (aerosol can type) then throw on some Gray paint (it was just lying around )

I will take the old tanks out tonight if time allows, then when the paint is dry on the new units I will throw them in, (likely tomorrow)
