Ah, you shoulda done it, Dave. They aren't too bad, really.

Been too hot here to do it myself. Yesterday it was 102 degrees.

Remember Dave, techs work in all weather. If one of my techs told me it was too cold to work (and trust me, it gets chilly here) I would have to let him go.

When I was a tech, I worked in all weather. 115* heat when I lived in the lower 48 to -45* as a field tech on the north slope of Alaska.

You cannot tell your boss you don't feel like pullin' a Chevy fuel pump because it's too hot.

The wrenchin' life isn't for everyone. You better figure that out.

:werd:

I still work on my truck, with the unbearable heat and with a torn shoulder. Run a fan, stay hydrated. If its your vehicle, take your time. When I had to change my knock sensors last month it took me 2.5 hours...on a job that should take an hour tops. It was done but at a slower pace, but it was done.

I just had my shoulder surgery and physically can't do jack shit. Under this circumstance, yes, I would have to get a mechanic to do my work.

You have to suck it up sometimes.

They will tell you anything to get the money out of your pocket or in this case out of your moms purse!
