You sure that's engine oil? There is a trans cooler and a power steering fluid cooler both in front of the radiator. The power steering fluid cooler is actually on the drivers side very close to the damage.
Oh, and it looks like it might be time to install a new Humpert with a HD bumper cap and a HD grill and hood.

I forgot to mention!!! The EXACT same place my kid pulled out and did the damage, claimed another GM. One of my employees has a new Denali, and made the same mistake, killing a Subaru AND a Dodge HD. The Subaru was going fast enough that when it hit the rear axle it blasted the Denali across the ice into a parked Dodge HD 2500. We are still trying to get the city to move the 15 foot tall snowpile they have created, blocking everybody's view of oncoming traffic.

Anywhoo...I want to learn more about the HD bumper mod.

We looked EVERYWHERE for a Z71 Tahoe valance, and no bueno. They do not exist for now.

He has a standard bumper located.

We have the wheels and tires handled, which is great news, and he is going to contact Jenna for an autocal that we can share

Glad he is ok and hope the others are as well. Damage doesn't look to bad. It is just a minor set back.

Yeah, it has been crazy for him Plans got all messed up.

Today, we are ripping the manifold off to do an intake gasket. Will do the Seafoam treatment and then flog the hell out of to hopefully clean up the cats. It has been running all week with a P0300 and P0174 so the soot piles are building! My best diagnoses is a manifold leak.

These setbacks, the wreck, the wheel and tires purchases, etc has really changed his original plan!

Yeah, that's usually the intake gasket. If the cats are shot maybe throw some long tubes with catless off-road pipe, O2 sim and have Justin tune that shit.
