Nice, I have a buddy that has a 96 tracker, although it had IFS front it would go alot of places completly stock too, including deep holes were one unfortunate time it swallowed some water and bent a rod, it wasn`t to hard to fix the one hole, and I recall we did a clutch one afternoon too, everything is so small and easy to handle.

Unfortunatly at some point that same hole that bent the rod eventually threw the rod through the block, not sure what he did wrong when he assembled it. :dunno:

You betcha
That setup should be nice and light for going through that slop. Shouldn't dig in too much.

 There was a guy a few years older than me in high school who had one. He almost rolled it every day going around this bend at school. Seemed very top heavy

Keep us posted

oh they are very top heavy . hopefully the wide tires will help with that.

oh yeah thats the point nice and light. samurais can actually float on water with wide 40's or bigger.

Suzuki Samurai is a cool base for a hardcore trail rig. An uncle of mine had a 4-door Vitara some years ago, and had swapped a Volkswagen diesel on it and got a fuel efficiency closer to a hi-tech hybrid without the heavy batteries and the g@y look of a Prius...
