As long as you use a relay harness, your HID's shouldn't be cutting out on you at all... Ever...
4300K HID's is what you want, if you go that route...
My truck has had the front end leave the ground multiple times, and my HID's didn't even blink...
Headlight wise, HID's work best in either a quad headlamp system, or an actual bixenon HID projector...
An actual HID retrofit is always the best way to go
If you can run 9005 bulbs in your fogs, though, look into the Toshiba HIR bulbs!

Yeah I think my next step back into HIDs will be with a retrofit like Steve did. I haven't looked into if I can use 9005s yet. That would be awesome if I could though!
